UNESCO Story Circles are used around the world for developing individuals' intercultural competencies and bridging divides.
The evening's event will provide an opportunity to:
- Meet members of our community
- Hear one another's stories
- Harness the power of our own stories
- Discover how sharing stories can help create communities of support
- Practice listening for understanding -- a skill that enables connection
Interpreters available: American Sign Language, Spanish and Somali
Story Circles will be held in English as a common language
