About the Event
Have you ever wondered what we mean when we call something a genocide, a holocaust,
an apartheid, a crime against humanity, or an act of terror? With the rising death tolls in
Palestine, attacks on ethnic, religious, and racial minorities, regional wars, lack of legal
protection for the poor, and most of the world’s wealth in the hands of few people, many
people globally and in St. Cloud feel targeted and excluded. In this public session, regional
university faculty share the definitions for terms that describe how we commit violence.
